Application Process

We are committed to creating a more equitable application process that relies more on conversation and dialogue than written words. The following steps are intended to minimize how much time any applicant invests in the application process. 

Step 1

Review the Program Focus Areas and descriptions of work we are likely to support.

Step 2

Create an account and complete Eligibility Questionnaire.

Step 3

Eligble applicants can submit a formal inquiry by phone or in writing. 

Step 4

Strong applicants will be invited to participate in an in-person meeting with Memorial Fund staff.

Step 5

Applicants who successfully meet interview criteria will be invited to submit a Final Application online.

NEW Applications

Application (Steps 1 to 5) must be completed and submitted by JUNE

Board Decision in SEPTEMBER

RENEWAL Applications

Application (Steps 1 to 5) must be completed and submitted by SEPTEMBER

Board Decision DECEMBER or APRIL

*Schedule subject to change, depending on volume of applications.

Important: Only applications submitted through this process will be considered for funding.
