Exploratory Grants: Inspiring School Equity
Moving to Action for Equitable Classrooms in Two Connecticut Districts $75,000

CT Center for School Change along with The Amistad Center for Art is proposing to partner and provide year-long technical assistance to two districts that participate in the Center's October Institute for Action. The project is designed to assure these districts develop the capacity to shift mindsets and implement equity-focused classroom, school, and district practices. Teams of district leaders, teachers, students, community members and families will identify and address core inequities that impact students' learning and achievement. Center staff will provide coaching, facilitation, and technical support.
