Stand Against Racism Mini-Grants

The William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund invites you to apply for a small grant through the Director’s Discretionary Fund to support activities and events related to Stand Against Racism, taking place on April 25-28, 2019.

Stand Against Racism is the YWCA’s “signature campaign to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in communities.” This year’s theme is NO HATE. NO FEAR. Immigrant Justice is Racial Justice.

Preference will be given to community members and organizations in Connecticut that have a history of working on issues related to racial justice and/or immigrant rights. 501©(3) status is not required but a fiscal conduit is still required. If needed, the Memorial Fund may be able to match grantees without 501©(3) status with fiscal sponsors.

To apply, please submit your application: Stand Against Racism Mini-Grant Application

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The deadline is April 15, 2019.
